This position coordinates the grant-development process, maintains the grant calendar, and works with program, finance, clinical, and executive staff to develop competitive applications and required reports.### The Grant Writer supports grants from government agencies, foundations, corporations, and other funding sources. For federally funded programs, the position helps ensure that proposals and reports align with applicable funding requirements, allowable-cost principles, and organizational policies.* ### Research government, foundation, corporate, and other funding opportunities that align with organizational priorities.* ### Evaluate funding opportunities for eligibility, strategic fit, financial feasibility, and application requirements.* ### Write and edit letters of inquiry, grant proposals, renewal applications, concept papers, and supporting documents.* ### Translate program goals, community needs, performance data, and financial information into clear and persuasive narratives.* ### Coordinate proposal development with program leadership, finance, compliance, human resources, and executive management.* ### Develop proposal timelines and manage internal deadlines to ensure complete and timely submissions.### ***The tasks outlined above are intended to provide a general overview of the role and are not an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or job functions. Additional tasks may be assigned as needed to support the business, and responsibilities may evolve to meet the changing needs of the organization.***---## Qualifications* ### Bachelor's degree in English, communications, public administration, business, nonprofit management, healthcare administration, or a related field required.* ### Three or more years of grant-writing or related professional writing experience required.* ### Demonstrated experience preparing successful grant proposals required.* ### Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, research, and organizational skills.* ### Ability to communicate complex programmatic and financial information clearly and persuasively.* ### Strong project-management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.* ### Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable productivity applications.* ### Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.* ### Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.* ### Experience writing federal, state, foundation, and corporate grant applications preferred.* ### Experience working for a nonprofit healthcare organization, Federally Qualified Health Center, or community-based organization preferred.* ### Familiarity with HRSA grants, including Section 330 funding preferred.* ### Knowledge of federal grant requirements, including Uniform Guidance under 2 CFR Part 200 preferred.* ### Experience with federal grant systems such as Grants.gov, SAM.gov, and HRSA's Electronic Handbooks preferred.* ### Experience developing grant budgets and reviewing financial information.* ### Grant Professional Certified, Certified Fund Raising Executive, or similar professional credential preferred.---OneWorld Community Health Centers, Inc. provides a competitive benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Life Insurance; Tuition Reimbursement; 401(k); free fitness center, and more.
