Girling Health Care of New York is seeking an experienced Physician Order Tracking Clerk to join our growing team. This vital administrative role supports the coordination of physician orders and documentation that help ensure quality patient care and regulatory compliance. We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with prior home care experience who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

What You'll Bring

• Prior home care experience required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one year of clerical or administrative experience, preferably in healthcare
• Strong computer skills and data entry accuracy
• Excellent organizational, communication, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and office personnel

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full physician order tracking process, including 485s and interim orders
• Print, mail, fax, and track physician orders in accordance with agency policies
• Enter signed physician orders into the electronic medical record system
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidential records
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding physician orders through reports and direct outreach
• Coordinate with physicians' offices and clinical staff to resolve order-related issues
• Communicate physician information updates to appropriate team members
• Provide ongoing support to clinical and administrative staff
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and agency compliance standards
