OSHA Associate Attorney

Job Overview A law firm seeks an OSHA Associate Attorney in Tampa, FL. The successful candidate will support and guide clients on workplace safety and health compliance with OSHA regulations and manage other labor and employment matters as needed. Duties Guide business partners on environmental and workplace safety compliance requirements. Manage outside counsel and vendors on global EH&S issues. Create programmatic opportunities to address risk, including training and policy development. Develop relationships with regulatory agencies and influence policy development. Handle litigation related to workplace safety and discrimination matters. Represent clients in negotiations and mediations. Provide crisis management for workplace safety and health matters. Requirements J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with exceptional academic credentials. 3+years of employment litigation experience preferred; OSHA experience required. Class action or public sector experience is a plus. AdmittedtopracticelawintheStateBaroftheAssociate'sprimaryoffice. Education Juris Doctor (J.D.) Certifications Admittedto StateBar Skills Attention to detail and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
