This role aligns talent priorities with business objectives to enable growth, operational excellence, and organizational effectiveness across a complex manufacturing environment. This position will partner closely with senior leaders to shape workforce strategy, build leadership capability, and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture. This individual brings a balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, translating enterprise priorities into actionable HR solutions.Qualified candidates must be able to work a hybrid schedule at our Bloomington, MN office. Role Responsibilities:Strategic Partnership & Business AlignmentAct as a trusted advisor to senior business leaders, providing strategic HR guidance aligned to business goalsDevelop and execute people strategies that enable growth, productivity, and organizational transformationLeverage data and insights to inform decision-making and anticipate workforce needsTalent & Leadership DevelopmentDrive talent management processes including succession planning, leadership development, and performance managementPartner with Talent Acquisition to ensure effective workforce planning and hiring strategiesBuild leadership capability at all levels, with a focus on frontline and plant leadership in manufacturing environmentsOrganizational EffectivenessLead organizational design, restructuring, and change management initiativesEnable high-performing teams through culture, engagement, and capability-building effortsChampion inclusion and employee experience initiatives across global teamsOperational Excellence & Employee RelationsProvide guidance on complex employee relations matters, ensuring consistency and risk mitigationPartner with COEs (Compensation, Benefits, Talent, HR Operations) to deliver scalable solutionsEnsure compliance with global and local labor laws and regulationsChange LeadershipLead and support transformation initiatives, including business integrations, restructuring, and process improvementsDrive adoption of new programs, technologies, and ways of workingMinimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree10+ years of progressive HR experience, including direct HR business partner leadershipExperience supporting senior leaders in a complex, matrixed organizationStrong business acumen with experience in manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operational environmentsDemonstrated experience in organizational design, talent management, and change leadershipExperience managing employee relations in a multi-site or global environmentPreferred Qualifications: Master’s degree (MBA or HR-related field)Experience in a global manufacturing organization with 5,000+ employeesProven ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the organizationPrior experience supporting P&L ownership or business unit leadership teamsStrong background in workforce planning and analytics-driven decision-makingExperience leading large-scale transformation or cultural change initiativesHR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR)Exposure to international labor practices and cross-cultural leadershipAnnual Salary Range: $ 158,000 – $211,300.Actual salaries will vary based on several factors including, but not limited to applicable work experience, training, education, and performance.In addition to the base salary, this position is eligible for:Annual incentive plan based on performance and company growth.Long-Term Incentive (LTI) PlanEmployee benefits are part of the competitive total rewards package that Donaldson Company, Inc. provides to you.
