Location: Barnegat, NJ Pay-rate: $24.00-$26.00 /hr. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM Contract-to-permanent Opportunity!

Summary: Manage payments, invoices, and collections, ensuring seamless financial transactions contributing to our organization's success. The ideal candidate will possess solid working knowledge of accounts payable/receivable processes, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.

Accounts Payable Clerk Job Duties:

• Process payments and invoices, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable, resolve discrepancies, and address outstanding balances.
• Monitor and manage outstanding accounts, proactively following up on overdue payments.
• Resolve discrepancies and issues related to accounts payable/receivable, working collaboratively with internal teams and external parties.
• Prepare reports for management, providing insights on aging balances and financial information.
• Maintain organized filing systems for easy retrieval and compliance requirements.
• Monitor and meet payment deadlines, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors.
• Respond to inquiries from vendors and customers regarding billing, payments, and account information.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Accounts Payable Clerk Job Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred.
• Previous related experience required.
• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel.
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems. Experience in Appfolio and Sage Intact is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records.
