This role is based onsite and focuses on providing specialized instruction and guidance for young students with diverse needs from now through May 2027. Key Qualifications:

• Valid Louisiana Special Education Early Intervention (Birth-5) Certificate required.
• Experience designing and implementing IEPs for young children.
• Solid grasp of PreK and Kindergarten curriculum, instructional techniques, and accommodations.
• Strong understanding of special education procedure compliance.
• Effective communicator and collaborator with families, teachers, and support staff.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, evidence-based instruction for PreK and Kindergarten students.
• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
• Observe, assess, and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed.
• Collaborate with general education teachers and related service providers to ensure cohesive support.
• Foster a supportive, adaptive classroom atmosphere that nurtures students' strengths and needs.
• Engage families in their child’s learning journey, offering resources and regular updates.
