Leasing Manager

$30 - $36 per hour

Position Overview It is an exciting time for IMT as we continue to expand our portfolio! We are hiring a Leasing Manager for our brand‑new luxury mixed‑use development, Via Avanti, which includes 325 apartment homes and over 36,000 square feet of retail spaces in Sherman Oaks, CA. Position Details The Leasing Manager is the sales and customer service leader of the community focusing on creating an atmosphere where people want to live and thereby maximizing net operating income. Responsibilities Motivate, train and develop your team of Leasing Consultants Ensure that the community’s occupancy goals are met by continuous involvement in the leasing process, developing the Leasing Consultants skills and driving traffic to the community Conduct market research, project leasing activity, evaluate sources, and develop the marketing plan Review applicant files to ensure accuracy Assist residents, solve any problems that arise, and provide outstanding customer service that develops long term relationships Manage lease renewals to ensure a high resident retention rate Walk vacant units to ensure that they are rent ready per IMT’s standards Ensure IMT’s procedures and Fair Housing laws are followed Additional projects and/or duties as assigned by the Community Manager Qualifications Multi‑family housing leasing and leadership experience; ideal experience is a Leasing Manager position overseeing a leasing team or a Community Manager position Proven strengths in managing a high performing team Thorough knowledge of established leasing practices and apartment industry norms and laws Proven expertise in driving sales, achieving a high level of your own and your team’s results, and the ability to connect with a variety of people High level of customer service skills including achieving a positive outcome in complex situations Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multi‑tasking skills Motivation to succeed and meet or exceed goals The ability to work well in a fast paced environment A positive attitude, and the desire to learn and develop your skills College education helpful Availability to work weekends because that is when your team and your customers need you Active and valid driver license is required Equal Opportunity Employer Consistent with our company values, IMT Residential is an Equal Opportunity Employer with a strong commitment to cultivating a diverse and inclusive environment.
