This position will be located in our Flower Mound, TX office in a hybrid capacity.

Position Overview:

Responsible for sales in MHCA’s U.S. Transportation Vendor Solutions, Direct Originations business for a geographical region. Responsible for driving direct sales of equipment finance leases and loans and ultimately developed service & maintenance products, technology enabling products and fee income agreements to end-user transportation fleet customers (private and for-hire) while collaborating across key business functions—including credit, documentation, administration, collections, and remarketing—to ensure seamless execution, customer satisfaction and company profitability..

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

(Listed in order of time spent)

• Responsible for sales function within the Transportation, Vendor Solutions Direct Lending business for MHCA. This includes the development and management of strategic end-user customer relationships. This overall function includes but is not limited to management of the following:
• Identify, target and develop new end user relationships.
• Solicitation and signing of end user relationships.
• Achieving appropriate pricing for new business.
• Relationship building with strategic referrers of end user customers.
• Setting relationship guidelines.
• Resolution of end user customer issues and complaints.
• Create and present effective program presentations and training tools for various trade shows and strategic partner meetings.
• Collaborate with Marketing in targeting new relationships.
• Participate in establishing and consistently meeting business budget goals that include new business volume, new business spreads, service, fee and referral income, return on assets, and overall direct SG&A expenses.
• Develop new products leveraging the industry expertise and channel relationships of the Transportation, Vendor Solutions division.
• Work closely with Senior Management and other department managers to foster an inclusive environment that focuses on cooperation, collaborative problem solving, and collective ownership of our business and customer responsibilities.
• Professionally and effectively represent MHCA at industry conventions and seminars, sales meetings and other professional functions.
• Individually represent MHCA by always meeting the highest of ethical and professional standards.

KPI’s (Key Performance Indicators):

• Assigned volume target.
• Assigned NIM Blended Target.

Responsibility and Decision-Making Authority:

• Collaboratively works together with other departments to execute overall business objectives.
• Work closely with administrative support to achieve business objectives.
• Work collaboratively with supporting functions such as credit, administration, and portfolio management.

Management/Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Qualifications:

• Proven success in a sales capacity.
• In-depth knowledge of the light, medium and heavy-duty truck markets, as well as the finance/leasing, service and technological products that support them.
• Demonstrated relationship building skills.
• Must understand the dynamics, competition and customer opportunities of the trucking and work truck industries.
• Decisive and articulate, with polished professional sales and presentation skills, and oral and written communication skills.
• A self-starter with a strong work ethic who possesses a sense of urgency.
• Comfortable with a leadership role with demonstrated team building and collaborative management skills.
• Critical thinker that can look “out of the box” for solutions and process improvement.
• Team player with ability to rally support from other departments and employees.
• Must demonstrate a history of integrity, and strong personal and professional ethics.

Education and Experience:

• BA/BS, Business or Finance required.
• 10+ years related experience with comparable financial institution.

Licensing and Certification:

• None.

Tools and Equipment Used:

• Personal Computer, copier, fax, phone, and other typical office equipment.

Working Hours:

• Hours may vary and will require some evening work; frequently requires working 40-45 hours/week depending on business needs.

Travel:

• Domestic travel is required.
• Occasional travel related to attendance at industry seminars.

Physical Demands:

• Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation of office equipment
• Light lifting and carrying of supplies, files, etc.
• Ability to speak to and hear customers and/or other employees via phone or in person.
• Body motor skills sufficient to enable incumbent to move from one office location to another.

The position is exempt and the salary will be between $140,000 - $175,000 with an opportunity to earn commission.

The salary range is determined and based on internal equity, market data/ranges, applicant's skills, prior relevant experience and education.
