This position translates company strategy into measurable operating plans and establishes standards for performance, growth, operational excellence, and world-class customer service.The Vice President of Operations ensures that Protech’s locations and mobile units are fully operational, consistently follow company procedures, achieve established performance expectations, and have the leadership, staffing, tools, training, and resources needed to succeed. This role develops high-performing leaders, strengthens accountability, addresses operational and business trends, mitigates risk, and builds relationships that support Protech’s continued growth.**Essential Responsibilities****Essential Duties and Responsibilities:****Strategic Leadership and Growth**• Lead the execution of Protech’s overall growth and operations plan.• Translate company goals and strategic priorities into clear operating plans, performance expectations, and measurable results.• Contribute to the design and continued development of Protech’s organizational structure, operating model, enhanced services, and future business initiatives.• Identify opportunities to improve operational capacity, efficiency, service quality, profitability, and scalability.• Partner with executive leadership to evaluate market opportunities and determine the operational resources required to support expansion.• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitive activity, client needs, and regional market conditions.**Operational Excellence**• Provide direction and executive leadership to ensure all Protech locations and mobile units are fully staffed, equipped, supported, and operational.• Establish clear expectations and ensure leaders and teammates have the tools, training, systems, information, and resources needed to perform successfully.• Ensure Protech policies, procedures, operating standards, and service expectations are understood, implemented, and consistently followed.• Promote consistent operating practices across locations and territories while allowing appropriate flexibility for regional and client-specific needs.• Evaluate operational workflows and implement improvements that increase productivity, quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.• Coordinate with functional leaders to ensure production and administrative operations effectively support company objectives.• Lead operational planning for new locations, mobile units, service offerings, client programs, and other growth initiatives.• Ensure operational priorities are communicated clearly and executed in a timely and disciplined manner.**Performance Management and Accountability**• Establish specific operational and financial performance metrics for assigned leaders, locations, mobile units, and territories.• Monitor performance through dashboards, operating reports, financial results, customer feedback, quality measures, and other relevant data.• Hold regional and operational leaders accountable through regular communication, performance reviews, coaching, and documented action plans.• Identify, analyze, and correct negative business trends using performance reporting, root-cause analysis, and corrective action planning.• Work with Protech management to address systemic, strategic, and tactical issues affecting performance.• Ensure corrective actions have clear owners, deadlines, expected outcomes, and appropriate follow-up.• Recognize and reward strong performance through timely, specific, and meaningful feedback.• Report operational performance, risks, priorities, and recommendations to executive leadership.**Talent Acquisition and Leadership Development**• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for operational and leadership positions.• Source and recruit high-quality candidates for potential employment with Protech, in partnership with Human Resources and hiring leaders.• Participate in the selection, onboarding, development, and retention of operational leaders.• Assess organizational talent needs and develop succession plans for critical leadership positions.• Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities that strengthen leadership capability and support professional growth.• Encourage teammates to pursue career development opportunities and prepare high-performing individuals for expanded responsibilities.• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, respect, and customer service.• Address performance or conduct concerns promptly, consistently, and in partnership with Human Resources.**Customer, Client, and Market Relationships**• Promote world-class service across every Protech location, mobile unit, and customer or client interaction.• Ensure center, customer, and client concerns are addressed professionally, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.• Identify recurring service concerns and implement sustainable corrective actions.• Develop strong on-the-ground relationships with potential industry clients in support of the Chief Client Officer and Protech’s business-development strategy.• Build, grow, and maintain regional business and industry relationships.• Represent Protech professionally in meetings with clients, prospective clients, business partners, and community or industry organizations.• Identify and capitalize on market opportunities that align with Protech’s strategic objectives and operational capabilities.• Partner with client-facing leaders to ensure operational commitments, service expectations, and performance standards are achieved.**Risk Management, Safety, and Compliance**• Recognize, assess, and proactively manage operational risks involving teammates, safety, clients, customers, facilities, mobile units, equipment, and service delivery.• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, contracts, company policies, safety requirements, and quality standards.• Partner with appropriate functional leaders to investigate incidents, resolve concerns, and prevent recurrence.• Establish escalation procedures for significant operational, safety, client, staffing, or facility issues.• Promote a culture in which teammates raise concerns promptly and leaders take appropriate action.• Ensure business-continuity and contingency plans are maintained for critical operations.**Executive and Cross-Functional Leadership**• Serve as a member of Protech’s senior leadership team and contribute to company-wide planning and decision-making.• Collaborate with executive, financial, human resources, client, technology, safety, quality, and administrative leaders.• Communicate operational priorities, business results, resource requirements, and emerging risks clearly to key stakeholders.• Lead organizational change with clear communication, structured implementation plans, and appropriate performance monitoring.• Perform other duties and responsibilities consistent with the position and Protech’s evolving business needs.**Key Measures of Success**• Revenue, profitability, and operational growth.• Achievement of territory, location, and mobile-unit performance goals.• Operational readiness and service availability.• Customer and client satisfaction, retention, and issue resolution.• Productivity, efficiency, quality, and cost management.• Safety, compliance, and risk-management performance.• Consistent implementation of Protech policies and procedures.• Staffing levels, teammate retention, and leadership-pipeline strength.**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities****Qualifications**• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, healthcare administration, organizational leadership, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred. Equivalent senior-level experience may be considered.• At least 10 years of progressively responsible operations experience, including significant leadership responsibility.• At least five years of senior leadership experience overseeing multi-location, regional, or mobile operations.• Demonstrated success leading operational growth, improving performance, and managing organizational change.• Experience establishing performance metrics and using operational and financial data to guide decisions.• Experience recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining leaders.• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with customers, clients, business partners, and internal stakeholders.• Experience with budgeting, resource planning, process improvement, risk management, and regulatory compliance.• Willingness and ability to travel frequently based on operational and business needs.**Preferred Experience**• Executive leadership and strategic thinking.• Multi-site and regional operations management.• Business planning and disciplined execution.• Financial and operational analysis.• Performance management and accountability.• Talent acquisition, coaching, and succession planning.• Customer and client relationship management.• Process improvement and change leadership.• Risk assessment and problem-solving.• Clear written and verbal communication.• Negotiation, conflict resolution, and sound judgment.• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.• Ability to lead through influence and build alignment across departments.• High level of integrity, professionalism, discretion, and personal accountability.**Working Environment**This position operates in office, production, mobile-unit, customer, and client-site environments. The role may require extended periods of sitting, standing, walking, using a computer, participating in meetings, and traveling by automobile or air.
