Advanced Education in General Dentistry UMKC School of Dentistry is the only public dental school in Missouri. Our alumni account for roughly half of all practicing dentists in Missouri. It also provides a critical education outlet for Kansas and several other states. UMKC is the only institution in Missouri offering advanced education residency programs in General Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Periodontics, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, and Endodontics. Job Description The University of Missouri-Kansas City, School of Dentistry seeks a non‑tenure‑track faculty Assistant/Associate Clinical Professor for the position of Director of the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program (AEGD Residency). This is a 12‑month benefit‑eligible position. This is a 12‑month, benefit‑eligible, full‑time (1.0) faculty appointment eligible for ranked promotion. Rank and salary will be commensurate with education, qualifications, and experience. Responsibilities Coordinate all resident didactic curriculum and seminars. Organize and prepare curriculum. Administrative responsibilities including compliance with accreditation standards and reporting. Supervisory responsibilities. Clinical coordination of resident training. Qualifications Candidates should have a DMD/DDS degree (or equivalent) and have completed an AEGD or General Practice (GPR) Residency. Eligibility for the appropriate Missouri Dental licensure is required ( Prior experience in dental education and/or additional education such as a graduate degree (MS) is helpful.
