1st Class Handyperson - Norfolk VA

We are seeking a 1st Class Handyperson to join our team at BAE Systems Inc. As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for:

• Complete grinding, scaling and other surface preparation activities
• Complete cutting, and tacking work, be familiar with hot work requirements
• Able to measure and cut pip
• Help mechanics and tradespeople with installations, maintenance, and repairs
• Follow safety rules, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Work Authorization Forms (WAF)
• Work with hand tools, power tools, and small shop equipment
• Maintain clean and safe job sites while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $19.00 to $23.00 per hour (or $39,520 to $47,840 annually). Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as shift differentials or the terms outlined in an applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), which will ultimately determine your wages.
