As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Communications in Orlando, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, campus policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity at assigned locations, assisting with visitor directions and reporting unauthorized access concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision and campus representatives regarding incidents and daily activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
