Qualifications:4 years of experience in press brake operationsAbility to communicate in EnglishAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentOrganized, detail oriented, and dependableAbility to solve problemsHigh school diploma or GEDMust be legally authorized to work in the USMust be able to complete a drug screen.Primary Functions:Program, set up and operate press brake to produce new parts meeting specifications, including customer and internal requirementsInterpret work orders, drawings, and blueprintsLoad the machine with sheet metal for production and adjust machine speeds as necessaryMeasure completed work pieces to verify conformance to specifications using micrometers, gauges, calipers, templates and rulersRun bend and forming operations using standard and custom punchesUse a CNC controller to input information into the machinePerform complex programming using all features of the press brakeResolve problems relating to materials, operations, quality or other factors as they arise, including routine and minor maintenance activities according to procedures, ensuring machine is calibrated, cleaned, and operating correctlyComplete and maintain paperworkIdentify assembly partsSet up light gauge metalConfigure bend allowances for sheet metalOther duties as assignedPhysical Demands:20/20 vision with or without correction, use of hands 100% of the time, stand, bend, stoop, twist, turn.
