Job Summary: Enjoy a rewarding career with a $10,000 sign-on bonus! This role involves evaluating and treating musculoskeletal, vascular, and neurological conditions with patient-specific therapies. You will provide education and preventive care to patients, their families, healthcare associates, and the broader community. Acting as a vital link between patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and social services, you will ensure the seamless delivery and coordination of physical therapy services.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Apply clinical expertise and sound judgment to care for patients across all age groups, from pediatric to geriatric, tailoring treatment plans to individual diagnoses. Deliver high-quality patient care including evaluation, treatment planning, education, safety instruction, and communication with relevant parties.
• Operate therapeutic equipment such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation units, mechanical traction devices, exercise machines, wound care tools, and hospital beds.
• Guide patients in the use of assistive devices, braces, orthotics, prosthetics, and orthopedic equipment.
• Assist patients with mobility, strengthening exercises, muscle reeducation, gait training, activities of daily living, and functional training.
• Modify physiotherapeutic techniques to accommodate patients who may have difficulty understanding verbal instructions or performing exercises independently.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and departmental standards.
• Engage in continuous quality improvement initiatives, including peer review and patient care evaluations. Foster excellent patient relations and maintain professional communication.
• Collaborate effectively with intra- and interdepartmental teams to enhance patient care and customer service.
• Supervise aides, students, and volunteers involved in therapy services.
• Support departmental functions as assigned by leadership.
• Participate in ongoing education and contribute to staff training efforts.

Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited Physical, Occupational, or Speech Therapy program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association, American Occupational Therapy Association, or American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Commitment to continuing education relevant to clinical practice. Active involvement in professional associations at local, state, and national levels as appropriate. Minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree required.

Licensure and Certifications: Must hold or be eligible for licensure in the applicable state. CPR certification required.

Work Shift: First shift, full-time (40 hours per week). This position is located in a regional healthcare setting within the Midwest United States, offering a supportive and collaborative environment for professional growth.
