Registered Nurse Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in the Cath Lab, including adult catheterizations and left heart studies.
  
  
• 
  Monitor patients during procedures, utilizing pulmonary artery lines and Swan-Ganz monitoring.
  
  
• 
  Administer procedural sedation and interpret/manage dysrhythmias effectively.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to call-backs, providing urgent care during rotating call shifts, including holidays.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, certifications, and licensing requirements.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and documentation accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid NY State RN license or have an application in progress.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 2 years recent experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab or Interventional Cardiology.
  
  
• 
  Maintain current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate proficiency in adult diagnostic and interventional catheterizations.
  
  
• 
  Exhibit excellent response time, with the ability to respond within 30 minutes.
  
  
• 
  Willing to accept consistent call responsibilities, including holidays and weekends.
