Responsibilities - Your Contribution
- Conduct regular and specialized laboratory tests in areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established procedures.
- Examine results for integrity, resolve discrepancies, and maintain lab instruments through routine calibration and maintenance.
- Assist in specimen gathering and prepare samples appropriately when necessary.
- Keep thorough documentation of all laboratory processes, help train newcomers, and uphold quality standards within the lab.
- Ensure a clean, safe workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.
- ASCP or AMT licensure in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be achieved within the first year of employment.
- Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your career here.
