As a Security Officer Patrol Agent in Jeffersonville, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a dynamic technology and telecommunications location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring an agile, reliable, and innovative approach, working with teamwork, care, and integrity each day.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and/or telecommunications location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and help to document observations and actions taken according to site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to identify potential concerns and report issues to the appropriate contact.
• Monitor access points, check credentials when required, and help to control entry and exit activity in support of site rules, visitor management practices, and after-hours protocols.
• Communicate with site contacts, employees, visitors, and/or first responders regarding security-related matters, facility concerns, and changing conditions during assigned shifts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
