As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with agility, reliability, and innovation while working as part of a caring team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns through established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout offices, production areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry points, verify access credentials as directed by site policies, and support visitor management processes for restricted and controlled areas.
• Support a professional environment by communicating clearly with site contacts, following post orders, and assisting with security-related requests and/or workplace concerns as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
