As a Security Officer Patrol Access and Badging in Louisville, KY , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a dynamic tech location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will support access awareness and respond to site needs with agility, reliability, and innovation while working with integrity and teamwork in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts according to post instructions.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity through the appropriate channels.
• Support site operations by following Allied Universal post orders, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting with security-related requests in a professional manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
