What You'll Do
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Room for diverse patient populations
- Assess patient condition and develop appropriate care plans utilizing the nursing process
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and care quality
- Communicate clearly with patients, families, and medical staff regarding procedures and care instructions
- Document all patient interactions accurately and efficiently
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, supporting life-saving procedures and interventions
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards
What You Need
- Active RN license in Louisiana
- Minimum 2 years of ER or acute care experience
- Current BLS, CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
