Immediate opportunity to join a specialized firm that works in conjunction with law firms, lenders & companies of all sizes, fulfilling legal due diligence, and compliance, for commercial lending and M&A activity in all 50 states. We streamline the legal due diligence and corporate filing processes for corporate, commercial real estate and business attorneys, and their paralegals; to help them meet closing deadlines. We have a Full-Time Opportunity for Legal Assistant/Admin. Assistant with a positive attitude and a desire for long-term growth. The ideal candidate takes pride in thoroughness & accuracy and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform online court searches to identify & report judgments and pending suits. Online corporate and legal research for business transactions (UCCs, Liens, Suits & Judgments). Document filing and coordination of filing projects, including Corp/LLC Formations, Annual Reports, etc. Extensive interaction with clients, co-workers, online State filing systems and Govt. agencies. Coordinate vendors who may help with searching, filing and document retrieval. Generate invoices using QuickBooks and create reports in MS Word and Excel to provide our clients with timely, thorough, and accurate results. General office duties, including but not limited to telephone, scanning, typing and database maintenance. REQUIREMENTS Ability to read Court Dockets and analyze cases for the status or final disposition. Minimum 55 WPM with the accuracy required. 2 years of college preferred, HS diploma required. Minimum of 2+ years of law firm or related practical experience required. Detail-oriented and deadline-driven. Self-starter, quick learner with proactive critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Exceptional organizational skills are necessary for multi-tasking. Strong verbal and written communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
