What You'll Do
- Deliver high-quality patient care utilizing established nursing processes within the NICU.
- Assess neonatal patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Communicate effectively with families, medical teams, and support staff.
- Delegate tasks appropriately and supervise nursing team members.
- Use data and evidence-based practices to evaluate patient outcomes and support continuous improvement.
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
- Support the unit's strategic goals and demonstrate professional accountability.
What You Need
- Required:
- Current Louisiana RN License
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in NICU or critical care
- Preferred:
- Certification in a neonatal or critical care specialty
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good judgment and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
