Athletic Trainer (Certified) - Full-time

Job Overview Chaminade College Preparatory is seeking a full‑time Athletic Trainer. The Athletic Trainer works with coaches and athletes to review medical conditions and develop health plans to meet individual diet and fitness goals. Responsibilities include analyzing injuries, designing nutrition and exercise plans, and building rehabilitation and training programs. The Athletic Trainer continuously evaluates athlete conditions, injuries, and illnesses, conducts diagnostic tests and exercises, and communicates results with medical professionals. Some common duties include: Attending sports events to provide on‑site care Conducting athlete intake assessments and maintaining medical records Coordinating with management to maintain equipment inventory Attending annual conferences and weekly staff meetings Developing customized treatment plans and making appropriate recommendations for athlete care Handling clerical tasks such as assisting with budgets, restocking supplies, and maintaining inventory Designing rehabilitation and training programs for athletes Potential candidates with 2 years of experience working with regular fitness clients or athletes and 1 year of clinical experience are preferred. Ideal candidates should also have basic first aid, concussion protocol, and CPR certifications. A current certification through the National Athletic Trainers’ Association is required.
