As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol - Afternoon Shift in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with strong customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or urgent situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare location, including entrances, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directions and general support, and help to address unusual behavior and/or policy concerns.
• Support staff during security-related calls for assistance, help to manage disruptive situations, and communicate with local responders and/or site leadership when needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possession of a state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
