What You’ll Need:

• Active BCBA certification
• Experience conducting Functional Behavior Assessments in school or similar settings
• Strong understanding of IDEA and IEP processes
• Proficiency in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting behavioral data
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with staff and present findings clearly
• Ability to work in-person at the designated site

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete a thorough, independent FBA for a student undergoing IEP evaluation
• Review relevant student records, interview staff, observe classroom environments, and collect direct data on student behavior
• Collaborate with educational teams and contribute expert recommendations tailored to student needs
• Develop written reports that clearly explain assessment procedures, findings, and actionable recommendations
• Ensure all activities adhere to ethical guidelines and district policies

Additional Details:

• This opportunity involves a single, in-person FBA for an independent evaluation; current preference is for on-site services
• Virtual services may be considered if local in-person candidates are unavailable (subject to final determination)
