Cardiac CT Technologist

Role: CT Technologist responsible for delivering high-quality, safe imaging procedures at a healthcare facility. Key Duties Perform CT scans following department protocols, ensuring diagnostic image quality while minimizing radiation exposure. Operate imaging equipment independently, adjusting techniques as needed. Maintain cleanliness and functionality of equipment and rooms, report issues promptly. Gather clinical history, verify orders, and ensure patient safety and comfort using effective communication techniques. Administer contrast agents using sterile techniques, position patients accurately, and apply safety measures like shielding. Review and process images, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation in RIS/PACS systems. Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support infection control and safety protocols. Coordinate workflows, support department operations, and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program. Minimum of 1 year radiology experience. Certifications in ARRT (Radiography and CT) and BLS from the American Heart Association. Strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent patient communication abilities.
