We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner to join our high-acuity Trauma and Acute Care Surgery team. The Nurse Practitioner will deliver comprehensive Trauma and Acute Care Surgery services for overnight coverage. Responsibilities include performing assessments, ordering/interpreting diagnostics, and developing treatment plans. The practitioner will manage trauma and emergency general surgery patients across inpatient settings. Collaboration with trauma surgeons to support procedures and ongoing patient management is essential. The role requires the ability to work autonomously while collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. All care must be documented using Epic EMR. Compliance with medical staff bylaws and privileging processes is necessary. The Nurse Practitioner will maintain high-quality patient safety and performance standards. Participation in mentorship, leadership development, and ongoing education is part of the role. Candidates must have the ability to meet the necessary qualifications and responsibilities outlined.
