Nurse Practitioner - Trauma & Acute Care Surgery

Location: Loveland, CO Setting: Level II Trauma Center Employment Type: Full-Time | Night Shift (7 PM - 7 AM)

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join a high-acuity Trauma & Acute Care Surgery team. This role involves providing advanced overnight care for trauma and emergency general surgery patients in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Provide overnight coverage for trauma and acute care surgery patients.
Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
Assist with procedures and ongoing patient management
Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with clinical and safety standards

Qualifications Required

Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
NP Certification (ANCC or AANPCB)
Active Colorado license (or ability to obtain)
DEA eligibility and Medicare/Medicaid eligibility
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of trauma surgery experience or surgical fellowship preferred
