Urgent Care Physician

Role Full-time Physician (MD/DO) in Occupational Medicine/Urgent Care in Bakersfield, CA. Responsibilities Provide high-quality medical care by examining and treating injuries, conducting routine check-ups, physical examinations, and managing patient records. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, PAs, NPs, surgeons, and therapists. Refer patients to specialists as needed and ensure compassionate, trust-based patient interactions. Stay updated with medical advancements through ongoing education. Qualifications & Skills Valid California license and DEA, excellent communication, experience in general or urgent care medicine preferred, strong diagnostic skills, knowledge of legal medical standards, and proficiency with electronic health records. Capable of conducting DOT exams (certification a plus). New graduates can be trained. Key Duties Examine patients, treat injuries, document medical information, collaborate with healthcare team, and maintain patient confidentiality. No call, weekends, or nights.
