Description: This position is for a CT Tech specializing in Radiology / Cardiology. The hospital operates as an acute care facility with a total of 277 staffed beds. The role includes performing high-quality CT examinations. The expected skill set includes abdominal, chest, brain, and vascular imaging without and with contrast. Other responsibilities include aspirations and biopsies, drainage procedures, and myelography. Technicians are required to work 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break. Patient care will include a diverse age range from neonates to geriatrics. The department will handle various patient diagnoses, including code stroke and traumas. Documentation will be completed using the Epic charting system. Local candidates are welcome to apply. Travelers must be willing to float between facilities as needed. Two references covering one year of experience are required. Candidates must provide certifications before the start of the assignment. Travelers may have to work two out of three major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Options for housing in the area should be researched, as they may be limited. Additional modules may be required for ongoing education. Completion of these modules will be tracked through provided transcripts.
