Job Description

The Computed Tomography Technologist will be responsible for performing advanced imaging procedures on patients across various age groups. The role includes collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging services in an acute care hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct CT scans of various body parts including abdomen, chest, and brain.
• Administer contrast media as required for specific examinations.
• Prepare patients for procedures and ensure their comfort throughout.
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist in data management using the Epic charting system.
• Participate in emergency imaging protocols as necessary.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of CT experience required.
• Active ARRT certification in Radiography (ARRT R) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Venipuncture certification required.
• Fluoroscopy permit preferred.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
