Associate Manager PT 20-29 hours

Job Description As part of our Retail team, the Associate Manager is responsible for creating a client experience that accurately reflects the ethos of our brand while building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving sales through outstanding service. The ideal candidate is committed to client service, demonstrates a strong understanding of the luxury, travel, fashion, and lifestyle markets, and has a passion for the brand. Key Responsibilities Performance to Goals: Meet and exceed individual and store baseline goals for personal sales and KPI metrics inclusive of conversion, DPT, UPT and Client Data Capture. Leadership And Initiative: Display initiative, plan and prioritize, show strategic thinking, and champion change effectively. Take pride in work and strive for excellence. Take responsibility for performance, complete assigned tasks and meet deadlines. People Development: Train and develop associates through roleplay and coaching, support the Store Manager with training and development, and complete quarterly goal‑setting for personal development. Provide coaching and feedback, articulate strengths, goals and opportunities, and foster a solution‑oriented culture. Communication And Relationship Building: Exercise strong written and verbal skills. Adapt communication upwards, laterally and within the team. Demonstrate ethical conduct, promote business goals and adapt to change. Remain calm, deescalate situations and collaborate with the team. Compliance: Manage personal timecards to ensure payroll accuracy. Maintain Tumi University Training compliance. Adhere to all company policies and procedures. Visual Merchandising/Client Experience: Ensure the store follows visual guidelines and directives. Enforce excellent client services through client books, thank‑you cards and event strategies. Maintain a consistent superior client experience. Qualifications Understand the TUMI brand and possess a true passion for the lifestyle, clients, and product assortment. Value a collaborative environment and be open to feedback. Ability to lift, push boxes weighing 30 lbs, and use a ladder as required by the retail environment. Strong sales and client experience, preferably in the luxury market. Proven success in meeting sales goals and achieving KPIs. Flexible availability to work nights, weekends, mornings, and holidays as needed. Strong sense of integrity and ability to lead by example. Strong time‑management skills.
