Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Active RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Labor and Delivery experience Description: Unit Information: Number of Beds: 13 beds plus 3 triage beds Number of Staff: 69 Type of Staff: Day Shift: 9 RNs, 2 OB techs, and 1 Unit clerk Night Shift: Patient ratios following established guidelines Typical Equipment: Fetal Monitoring, OR equipment, EMR Typical Procedures Performed on the Unit: Vaginal deliveries Cesarean sections Best Personality Fit: Culture of caring and compassion Floating Areas: Mother-Baby Unit, Women's Surgery Weekends and On Call: Rotating weekends and no call
