Nurse Practitioner (APRN)Location: FDHS Westchase Gastroenterology, LLC - Tampa, FLWe are seeking an experienced and motivated Mid-Level Provider (Advanced Practice Registered Nurse [APRN] or Physician Assistant [PA]) to join our growing and dynamic healthcare team. As we continue to grow, we are seeking an APRN/PA to grow with us and support our mission.Essential Duties:Deliver exceptional outpatient care to gastroenterology patients, including assessment, diagnosis, and development of treatment plans.Collaborate closely with supervising physicians and clinical team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.Provide patient education on GI health, disease prevention, medication management, and treatment options.Conduct physical examinations and interpret diagnostic studies related to GI conditions.Document encounters accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record (EMR).Maintain compliance with infection control, medication administration, and safety standards.Participate in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement initiatives.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Active license in good standing with the state of FloridaMinimum of 2 years of clinical experience.General Medicine or GI training preferred but not required – training and mentorship will be provided.Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environment and collaborate with team members.Proficiency in EMR documentation and time management.Ability to maintain effective and organized systems to ensure timely patient flowStrong written and interpersonal communication skillsStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsKnowledge of HIPAA and medical terminologyCommitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for local travel.BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support your professional growth, financial well-being, and work-life balance, including:Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.Attractive performance-based bonus opportunities.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.Support for continuing medical education and ongoing professional development.A positive, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment focused on delivering exceptional patient care.Physical DemandsThe employee may be required to stand for extended periods, lift and move equipment and assist with positioning patients during procedures. The employee is occasionally required to stand and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and climb stairs. The employee should be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs.
