Associate Director, eCommerce Operations & eProcurement

Illumina seeks an Associate Director to lead eCommerce Operations and eProcurement strategy, overseeing B2B digital purchasing capabilities, customer integrations, and operational scaling. The role requires deep expertise in eProcurement ecosystems and B2B commerce, with responsibility for team leadership, process optimization, and cross-functional partnership to drive adoption and business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategy, operations, and expansion of eProcurement capabilities including integrations and B2B purchasing channels
- Own eProcurement customer onboarding and enablement while partnering with business and technology teams
- Drive continuous improvement and operational performance across eCommerce and digital ordering channels
- Establish KPIs for eProcurement and eCommerce operations including adoption, performance, and customer experience metrics
- Lead and develop eCommerce Operations team while maintaining Business Development as distinct capability
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and minimum 15 years of related experience with 7+ years in management
- Significant hands-on experience with eProcurement programs, customer integrations, punchout, and procurement platforms
- Demonstrated success scaling eProcurement capabilities and driving adoption across customers and business units
- Strong knowledge of B2B digital purchasing, order-to-cash processes, and digital commerce operations
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex programs with multiple stakeholders
- Experience partnering across business, commercial, operational, and technology organizations
