Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Prepares and post journal entries as required
• Reconciles all balance sheets and various expense accounts
• Assist in the end-of-month closing process as required
• Assist other properties with accounting processes as required
• Balances intercompany accounts
• Creates financial, consolidated financial and non-financial reports in Report Writer
• Ensures that all regulatory requirements are met for federal and state regulatory agencies
• Establishes and ensures internal control procedures and structures to safeguard company assets
• Aids managers in the preparation of annual budgets for supervised departments, monthly cash flow analyses and periodic financial reports.

Skills, Education and Other Requirements:

• B.A. in Accounting or related field
• Excellent communication skills
• Significant proficiency in MS Excel
• Highly motivated, able to meet deadlines and work with little supervision
• Knowledge of Great Plains accounting, Report Writer Excel and database knowledge preferred
• Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
• Ability to obtain a Colorado Gaming License
• Identification that establishes identity
• Identification that establishes the right to work in the United States
