Maintenance Manager

job summary:
Very reputable, well established and growing organization is looking to hire (direct hire) a Maintenance Manager in Indianapolis, Indiana.

This opportunity comes with a very competitive compensation plan commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $120k to $130k plus an annual bonus of 10%-20%. Relocation assistance is available.

The ideal candidate will possess experience with proactive vs reactionary maintenance programs, preventative maintenance, reliability, excellent mechanical aptitude, PSM (Process Safety Management), CMMS and a track record of solid leadership experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

responsibilities:
-Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes and maintaining safe practices at all times

-Utilizes leadership skills to promote a safe and collaborative work environment for all team members

-Oversees housekeeping activities for the shop, ensuring organization and promoting excellence

-Implements spare parts organization and robust spare parts tracking system

-Partners with the maintenance team to ensure the appropriate mechanical and electrical skill sets are developed or acquired

-Maintains cost control to support facility and organizational goals

Education:

-Bachelor's degree (not required) in mechanical or chemical engineeing is preferred

Experience:

-5 years of maintenance supervisory experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

-Proficient with CMMS

-Experience with reliability excellence and preventative/predictive maintenance systems
