Art Director

Positioned as a mid-level, full-time Art Director in New York City, the role oversees design initiatives from initial concept through delivery, upholds brand consistency across materials, and partners with creative and marketing teams. A minimum of eight years of relevant experience is required. Location and Compensation Location: New York, NY onsite Salary: USD 68,300 - 182,600 per year Responsibilities Acquainting yourself with the campaign goals and target audience Collaborating with the Creative team to elevate the quality of work Engaging with internal marketing partners and other team members Upholding high standards and ensuring only top-tier work is released to clients Directing design projects from inception to completion Creating original assets, including illustrations and infographics Reviewing the work of junior designers to ensure quality Refining images, typography, and layouts using graphic design software Applying typography techniques to design solutions Analyzing and solving complex creative challenges Maintaining brand consistency across all marketing initiatives Coordinating with marketing and design teams to meet deadlines Requirements Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience developing creative content for events, marketing initiatives, or business communications Exquisite visual taste and storytelling ability from concept to craft Confidence to work independently or within a team Proactive in sharing ideas and solving challenges Skills in managing people, projects, and resources Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire design work while meeting deadlines Proficient use of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator or other visual design and wireframing tools Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio Ability to incorporate feedback and give/receive direction well Team player with strong communication and presentation skills Foresight to understand the client or audience perspective Meticulous attention to detail Experience exploring and adopting new AI tools and image-generation platforms such as Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, or others as part of the creative process Technologies InDesign Photoshop Illustrator Adobe Firefly Midjourney Benefits Medical, dental, vision, life, and long-term disability coverage 401(k) plan Bonus opportunities Paid holidays Paid time off #J-18808-Ljbffr
