Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire offers multiple inpatient and outpatient programs designed to meet the needs of every patient, no matter the issue. From our inpatient adult, to our outpatient partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs, our continuum of care can provide the treatment necessary to move our patients toward a more independent future.

Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a receptionist to receive guests, answer calls to the main switchboard, and respond to routine questions in a professional and timely manner. Position includes:

• Receive hospital visitors, ascertain needs and direct visitors appropriately; ensure that all visitors sign in.
• Answer and disseminate incoming calls on the switchboard in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Utilize the paging system to make announcements as required.
• Promote a positive working environment and guest relations.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school graduate or equivalent
• Experience: Two (2) years' experience operating multi-line telephone switchboard, preferably in a health care environment, and any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital environment.
• Certifications: Successful completion of CPR and Handle With Care certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.
