About Family First Center of Lake County Family First Center provides comprehensive behavioral health, case management, and community-based programming designed to improve access, stability, and well-being for families across Lake County. Services include individual therapy, case management, youth programming, community events, and resource navigation.Mission Statement“To nurture, educate, and provide opportunities within the community by placing emphasis on rebuilding the family, repairing division, and developing strategies to empower change to create a strong family support system.” Description About the Role We are seeking contract clinicians to provide telehealth counseling services to children, adults, and families. Ideal candidates are trauma-informed, self-directed, and committed to accessible mental health care. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, family, and/or group counseling services Deliver trauma-informed, culturally responsive care Conduct client assessments and develop treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with internal team members and external service providers Support clients in building coping skills and achieving treatment goals Follow all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards Qualifications Active licensure (e.g., LPCs, LCPCs, CADCs, LSWs, LCSWs, or Master’s-level clinicians accruing hours) Experience working with diverse populations, including children and families Knowledge of trauma-informed care and client-centered approaches Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as a contractor Preferred Skills & Experience Experience with trauma, substance use, anxiety, depression, family systems, or housing instability Background in community mental health or nonprofit settings Familiarity with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, etc.) Work Arrangement Contract-based (1099) position Flexible schedule based on availability Options for in-person, hybrid, or telehealth services Supervision opportunities (as applicable) #J-18808-Ljbffr Family First Center
