Balance payroll transactions, reconcile discrepancies, and prepare journal entries.Prepare and process payroll tax documentation, including W-2s, W-4s, and Form 941.Maintain compliance with state and federal payroll reporting requirements.Track employee vacation, sick leave, and other paid leave balances.Assist with annual audits, fiscal year-end procedures, and general accounting functions.Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and financial information.Provide professional assistance to employees regarding payroll questions and concerns.Payroll Specialist Qualifications:3–5 years of payroll experience.Associate degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field.Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
