Registered Nurse/PICU

Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) Nurse Location Main Campus Hospital Shift Rotating day and night shifts: 7:00pm–7:30am and 7:00am–7:30pm Shift schedules may change based on operational requirements. While preferences will be considered, rotation between shifts may be necessary. Requirements At least 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty before travel assignments A minimum of 18 months recent pediatric experience; travel experience is acceptable Experience in epilepsy monitoring and specialized care for patients up to 25 years old Possession of a permanent Ohio nursing license or a compact state license Current certifications in AHA or equivalent BLS, ACLS, and PALS Skills in EKG interpretation and administration of inotropes NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification is preferred Additional Information Travel nurses must work at least every other holiday Orientation includes ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments, which require passing scores Time reporting will be conducted through the designated electronic system #J-18808-Ljbffr SoftPath Medical
