Records and Property Management Specialist

We are seeking a Records and Property Management Specialist to oversee records lifecycle management and property accountability processes in support of mission and compliance requirements. This role ensures proper documentation, tracking, auditing, and disposition of records and property, with a strong emphasis on specialized security environments and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) support. Responsibilities Manage the full lifecycle of organizational records, including creation, classification, storage, retrieval, and disposition in accordance with applicable policies Maintain accurate records inventories and file plans to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational requirements Track and manage customer property and equipment, ensuring accountability, proper documentation, and audit readiness Conduct periodic compliance audits of records and property management processes; identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions Support Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by locating, reviewing, and coordinating the release of responsive records Ensure adherence to IC records management policies, security requirements, and data handling procedures Coordinate with internal stakeholders to improve records management systems, workflows, and property tracking processes Prepare reports and documentation for leadership, audits, and inspections Maintain documentation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training or guidance to personnel as needed Requirements A High School Diploma and eight (8) years of combined experience in the below OR a Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Management, Business Administration, Records Management, or a related field and five (5) years of combined experience in: Records control and lifecycle management Property tracking and accountability Compliance audits Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) support US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance required Desired Experience Certified Records Manager (CRM) or equivalent certification Strong knowledge of records management principles, retention schedules, and compliance frameworks Experience with electronic records management systems and property tracking tools Familiarity with FOIA processes and document review procedures Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain audit readiness Effective communication and coordination skills across teams and stakeholders The Swift Group and Subsidiaries are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer. Pay Range Pay Range: $49,996.80 - $290,004.00 Pay ranges are a general guideline and not intended as a guaranteed and/or implied final compensation or salary for this job opening. Determination of official compensation or salary relies on several different factors including, but not limited to: level of position, complexity of job responsibilities, geographic location, work experience, education, certifications, Federal Government contract labor categories, and contract wage rates.
