Provide engineering support for manufacturing and maintenance. (Per employee handbook).Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.Attend all EH&S training.Job RolesSystems thinker – views manufacturing, equipment, people, and processes as an integrated system; evaluates upstream and downstream impacts of engineering decisions; plans scalable, sustainable interventions.Program optimizer – challenges the organization to work smarter by aligning projects to business priorities, resource capacity, and measurable outcomes.Anticipation and risk management – proactively identifies technical, schedule, cost, and operational risks; develops mitigation plans and prepares stakeholders for upcoming changes.Operational accelerator – leads continuous improvement initiatives and capital programs; evaluates automation and technology investments with a focus on safety, throughput, and long-term value.Organization and structure – establishes and improves standard project execution processes, documentation, and governance; provides accurate status, forecasts, and performance metrics.Influence and stakeholder leadership – drives alignment and buy-in across operations, maintenance, EHS, supply chain, and leadership; communicates tradeoffs and recommendations using data and engineering judgment.Data-informed decision maker – defines success metrics, tracks performance, and adjusts execution based on quantitative feedback and root-cause analysis.Prioritized execution – manages competing priorities and unplanned events while maintaining focus on critical program objectives.Relationship builder – partners across shifts and functions; serves as a liaison between the shop floor and engineering; maintains awareness of operational realities and workforce needs.Job ResponsibilitiesDesign, construct and install new capital equipment for manufacturing.Lead projects including defining scope, cost justification, developing project plans, managing implementation, and monitoring results.Provide engineering support for manufacturing areas to resolve technical problems related to manufacturing equipment.Investigate and recommend new manufacturing methods and equipment to reduce scrap and improve productivity.Improve the availability of equipment thru data analysis and root cause problem solving.Prepare Instructions outlining operating procedures for manufacturing & the maintenance departments.Maintain and upgrade building and equipment systems – including vacuum pump, cooling tower, combustion and material handling systems.Recommend preventative maintenance procedures and frequency.Evaluate and coordinate opportunities to outsource or transfer production to sister manufacturing sites, including Morristown and Acuña, based on capacity, equipment capability, cost, quality, lead time, and overall business requirements.Lead technical and manufacturing assessments for potential product transfers, including process capability, equipment requirements, tooling, documentation, labor requirements, capacity, and readiness of the receiving facility.Partner with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Engineering, and sister-site personnel to develop and execute product transfer plans while minimizing disruption to customer deliveries and existing production.Job SpecificationsAbility to read, analyze, interpret, and maintain building printsAbility to troubleshoot, create and maintain equipment drawings, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and PLC code.Strong Interpersonal skills. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions and effectively articulate this information to operations and maintenance.QualificationsBasic Requirements:B.S. degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering plus 3-year related experienceEmployees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
