Are you passionate about crafting delicious sushi and delivering an exceptional dining experience? Sushi Shack, LLC, located in Boise, ID, is looking for a talented Sushi Chef to join our team. If you have a flair for culinary creativity and at least one year of experience in sushi preparation, wed love to hear from you!
What Youll Do: Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Sushi Chef at Sushi Shack, youll play a vital role in creating the fresh, high-quality sushi that keeps our customers coming back. Your responsibilities will include:
- Preparing sushi, sashimi, rolls, and other menu items with precision and artistry.
- Ensuring all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled with care.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace in compliance with food safety standards.
- Collaborating with the team to develop new menu items and specials.
- Providing excellent service by working efficiently and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
To thrive in this role, youll need:
- At least 1 year of experience in sushi preparation or a related culinary role.
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of sushi-making techniques.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation.
- The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
- A passion for Japanese cuisine and a desire to grow your skills.
