- Shift is 7.5 hours after an unpaid lunch break.
- Shift will be either 8:30AM - 4:30PM or 9AM - 5PM and can be discussed further at an interview.
- Reviews and evaluates food service and nutrition programs in childcare centers, day care homes, adult day cares, after-school programs, and shelters.
- Conducts on-site program reviews to assess compliance with CACFP requirements and regulations.
- Provides training and technical assistance on meal planning, record keeping, and program regulations.
- Reviews and approves or disapproves corrective action plans.
- Ensures compliance with Federal and State nutrition and food service regulations.
- Maintains strong organization, communication, and time management skills.
- Uses Microsoft Office and other computer applications for program documentation and reporting.
- Must hold a Registered Dietitian (RD) credential through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Position does not include supervisory responsibilities.
- May require monthly travel within the assigned region.
- Current, valid, and unrestricted NY license/certification in good standing, as required for the position.
- Candidates must be a Registered Dietitian (RD), certified by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
- Minimum of one (1) year related experience.
- Additional certifications may be required.
- Copy of current, completed Primary Source Verification (PSV) from the appropriate licensing board or verification agency, if required.
- Copy of all current required certifications and compliance documents (e.g., . BLS, N95 fit test, immunization records, TB test, or other client-specific requirements ) .
