Integra LifeSciences seeks a Quality Inspector I to visually inspect labels, packaging, and products in an FDA-regulated manufacturing environment. The role involves using measuring instruments, recording inspection data, approving or rejecting lots per specifications, and maintaining quality control documentation.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect labels, product identifiers, and pouches to approve or reject packing operations
- Obtain and measure samples using gauges, micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators
- Record inspection data and make accept/reject decisions based on specifications
- Maintain quality control records, documentation, and lot traceability
- Perform destructive and non-destructive testing on materials and products
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in quality inspection in FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred
- Knowledge of basic math, graph interpretation, and inspection methods
- Ability to read technical drawings and written procedures in English
- Proficiency with measuring gauges, optical comparators, micrometers, and testing equipment
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Knowledge of statistical process control techniques preferred
Compensation: $10.50–$13.46 USD hourly
