Quality Inspector I

Quality Inspector I position at medical device manufacturer involving inspection of labels, components, and raw materials against specifications. Role includes performing measurements, documenting findings, and making accept/reject decisions in an FDA-regulated environment.
Responsibilities
- Inspect labels, components, pouches, and raw materials against established specifications
- Operate testing equipment and measuring gauges to verify dimensions and product characteristics
- Document inspection data and make accept/reject decisions based on findings
- Maintain quality control records, blueprints, and documentation in organized files
- Assist in training new quality assurance inspectors and conduct spot audits
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year experience in quality inspection in FDA-regulated manufacturing preferred
- Proficiency with measuring instruments: calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, gauges
- Ability to read technical drawings and written specifications in English
- Knowledge of basic mathematics, graph interpretation, and statistical process control
- Capability to stand for extended periods and lift 35-pound objects
- Heavy vehicle driver's license highly preferred
Compensation: $10.50 - $13.46 USD hourly
