[About the Role]
Join a dynamic warehouse team in Durham, NC as an Operator 1, Warehouse Operations. This first-shift contractor position offers hands-on experience in warehouse logistics, providing a stable work schedule Monday through Friday and opportunities to expand your operational skills in a supportive environment.
- Lift, carry, and transport items weighing over 50 lbs, following all safety protocols
- Accurately receive, store, and ship inventory according to standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Read, understand, and execute written instructions and protocols in English
- Perform basic math calculations to maintain accurate inventory and documentation
- Adhere to established quality guidelines and participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure workflow efficiency [Required Skills and Experience] - High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift and move items over 50 lbs safely
- Proficient in reading, writing, and interpreting English documents
- Basic math competency
- Ability to follow written instructions accurately
- Must pass a 10-panel drug screening and comprehensive background check prior to employment [Preferred Skills] - Five years of warehouse or related operational experience
- Experience adhering to scientific or analytical processes
