Mold Utility - B Shift

BD is hiring a Mold Utility worker for B Shift at its Columbus molding center to support manufacturing operations. Responsibilities include quality inspections, material handling, inventory management, and documentation of molded medical device components. The role ensures production compliance with BD quality systems and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional, and visual quality inspections on molded materials
• Transport and manage raw, in-process, and finished materials using forklifts and equipment
• Complete production documentation, cycle counts, and material transactions accurately
• Package finished products, verify labels, and manage rejected material containment
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and maintain safe, organized work environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, or 2 years manufacturing experience
• Basic Microsoft Office and computer skills
• Strong organizational and documentation skills
• Written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work effectively in manufacturing environment
• Basic math skills
